While in my visit to Italy I took photos of individual trees in different parts of rural North Tuscany. My first encounter with an individual tree in middle of a field triggered the creation of the project “Lessons learnt from a trip to rural …” For me, a single tree is associated with individual and field is the environment, surrounding a particular individual. I know from my experience many people with “rich inner world”, for many reasons, are afraid to be themselves. Gradually, slowly we became a society of “average” people. I think this is wrong. I would like to encourage people to came out of their “shells”, stop be just an “average” person and enjoy life as person.
