The New York Photographic Fair AIPAD (The Association of International Photography Art Dealers) welcomed five new galleries.
The first gallery is located on the American territory. Based at Palm Beach, Holden Luntz Gallery offers vintage photography (Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, Bérénice Abbott) as well as current photograph and remarkable photographers (Harry Benson, Bruce Weber).
The four other galleries are all European. The first one is Beetles + Huxley in London. The gallery gives a vast panorama of contemporary photography and represents prestigious artists such as Sebastiao Salgado, Steve McHurry and Cecil Beaton; Gilles Peyroulet & Cie, an established gallery created about thirty years ago in Paris is also on the list; As much as Ibasho the elegant gallery who’s specialized into Japanese photography and based in Antwerp and the Photographica FineArt Gallery created in 2009 in Lugano by Marco Antonetto.
All will be present in the galleries of the photography fair in April 2018. The fair, created in 1978, moved successfully last year in the huge hangar of Pier 94. Aipad 2018 will take place from April 5 to 8, 2018.
