Laurence Miller Gallery presents at AIPAD Photography Show 2015 the New York debut of Double Mix, a collaborative series of works created by two French artists: photographer Denis Darzacq and ceramicist Anna Lüneman. Both Denis and Anna have an established history as solo artists but there they have come together to create something that is unique from their existing bodies of work. Denis’ photographs are laser cut to allow them to be embedded with Anna’s glazed ceramic sculptures.
The end result is a unique sculptural hybrid of photography and ceramics.
These playful creations position themselves in the rich terrain between images and objects.
