The writer Carlos Fuentes when writing about his dead son Carlos Fuentes Lemu, born in Paris on August 22 1973 and died in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, on May 5th 1999. Carlos wrote that his son was an artist of images, ” He seemed to understand that image resists reductive definition and encompasses in a manner that is almost an act of love…”
So with this I call my work an action for the love of the image: in all its defaming, rearranging, reconstruction and expansion.
