It is a book and an exhibition.
Its title Hold-Up 21, its author: Abigail Auperin.
The presentation:
Twenty women (authors, directors, poets, journalists, playwrights, actresses, directors, dancers, choreographers, TDS, performers, etc.) came together to highlight desire and pleasure in the feminist discussion.
Romy Alizée, Iman Bassalah, Virginie Bégaudeau, Manon Buselli, Alexandra Cismondi, Maïmouna Coulibaly, Camille Emmanuelle, Olympe De Gê, Laure Giappiconi, Alice Groult, Clémence Longy, Marilyn Mattei, Maïa Mazaurette, Nicole Mersey Ortega, Aïna Rahery, Axelle De Sade, Chloé Saffy, Milène Tournier, Anne Vassivière, Pauline Verduzier.
Twenty short stories like so many intimate windows opening onto the body and mind.
Twenty stories of enjoyment, of rare experiences, of circuitous paths, which touch, excite, provoke, shock, move, liberate, transform, repair.
A photographer interprets their words into a hundred paintings. Abigail Auperin dialogue in images with the news, in agreement with the news alone or in the company of actors. These 100 photographs compose a metanarrative which sharpens the sensoriality in a different way, by playing on the codes of genre cinema and classical painting.
