I open my new book with the words, “New York is a kaleidoscope through my eyes multifaceted and complex and ambiguous but certainly awe inspiringly beautiful and cacophonous all at the same time.”
Now in this time of corona, New York City has become the epicenter and focus of all the eyes of the planet, not just mine. The noise and the cacophony of this amazing metropolis has gone quiet for now. But the beauty is ever there. New York must and will survive this. And the rest of us must also be stronger than ever from overcoming this scourge. And we will do it, together.
These photos are a small reminder of earlier moments from this wonderful city that has been my muse and my love from when I first set eyes on her, so many years ago.
