During the opening week of the Tbilisi Photo Festival 2017, from Wednesday 13 to Saturday 16, September, a masterclass will be held by art historian and curator Christine Ollier. Entitled ‘From conception to the production of a photographic work‘, this workshop will allow pupils to ‘finalize a work in progress thanks to the approach of theoretical and practical knowledge’ for publication and exhibition .
The workshop also allows free access to the openings, screenings and conferences held during the festival. The workshop is conceived for 12 people maximum. The total price equals 1150 euros ; flights and materials on site are included. It is made possible by the support and participation of the Atlasglobal airline.
Christine Ollier was appointed in 2011 Chevalier des Arts et Lettres. During her career, she directed the Turbulences Gallery from 1989 to 2004 in New York City, and presided over the association of artistic events ACT Art Communication Theater. Two after leaving the gallery Turbulences, she took the artistic direction of its Parisian pair, the gallery Filles du Calvaire. She left the gallery in 2016 to continue her career as a solo historian and curator. It is the initiative of more than 80 structures.
