For 9 years now, 6Mois has put photojournalism in the spotlight. For the first time, an award is launched endowed with 10,000 euros to support photographers, with no age limit. The selection was made on the relevance and originality of the projects, as seen by a photographer with a personal viewpoint.

Marco Zorzanello is an Italian photographer, born in Vicenza in 1979. Since 2015, he has dedicated his visual investigation to the relationship between mass tourism and climate. Marco confronts us with the grotesque spectacle of skiers on artificial snows in the Dolomites, vacationers in luxury pools on the ever-declining Dead Sea, and tourists buying pieces of the last icebergs for $ 5. By revealing the absurdity of our behavior, Marco offers a critical look at the way we travel, with intelligence, distance and humor.
