Pierre-Yves Caër Gallery's inaugural exhibition

Back from Japan, where he lived from 2009 to 2014, Pierre-Yves Caër's mission is to increase the visibility of contemporary Japanese artists in France.

Yuki Onodera (born in Tokyo in 1962), lives in Paris since 1993. She works photography, mainly in black and white. In the manner of an artisan, she draws her own clichés (usually in very large formats) and doesn't hesitate to invent new processes. "Mysterious" is a word that often comes up when one talks about her work, which revolves around these questions: what is photography, and what can it do? Yuki is looking for what has never been seen, never been photographed, and tries to bring a new look on photography ...
