This series, Afrika The Wild, currently on view at the Black Eye Gallery in Sydney, Australia, is a collection of black & white, large format stills, depicting the majesty and rawness of the incredible African continent. True adventurers and dedicated environmentalists, photographers Ken and Michelle Dyball have a unique connection to Africa – especially the Masai Mara in Kenya – as this has been their home for the last decade. Each year they return to Australia to visit family and are here now preparing for this show. They both grew up in Port Macquarie on the north coast of New South Wales. A love of nature and adventure, photography and curiosity, drew them together in a partnership lasting more than 30 years and still going strong.
