Philippe Guionie is a member of the MYOP agency. Since 2004, between commissions and his personal work, the photographer has traveled to various destinations near the Black Sea. Each journey proves cathartic and adds something to his approach to photography. Color, which Guionie has been reluctant to use, appears as a result of expired film. For once, the vision has been readjusted without asking anything in return. Let the camera rest on the unexpected. The intimacy of the square-format is like a buried treasure. But the Black Sea is only pretext, the starting point for an imaginary tale.
