Giorgia Bellotti vit dans la province de Bologne, en Italie, dans les hauteurs de l’Apennin toscan-émilien. Depuis son enfance, c’est le dessin et la peinture qui sont les disciplines qu’elle préfère. Il y a seulement quelques années, elle découvre la photographie comme médium artistique. Cela lui a donné l’impulsion pour commencer une recherche artistique centrée sur elle-même et son univers intérieur. Giorgia utilise l’autoportrait pour se voir, se guérir, se chercher, sans jamais révéler son visage.

Giorgia Bellotti lives in the province of Bologna, Italy, high up in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Since childhood, it was drawing and painting were the disciplines that she preferred. It was only a few years ago that she discovered photography as an artistic medium. This gave her the impetus to start artistic research focused on herself and her inner universe. Giorgia uses the self-portrait to see herself, heal herself, seek herself, without ever revealing her face.
