Peter Liepke’s photographs combine composition, form, texture and technique. He shoots with a 100-year-old Graflex film camera, then hand prints with two 19th century techniques, gum bichromate and platinum-palladium. His expertise intricately combining these techniques creates other-world images, dense with texture, timelessness and suggestion. Liepke is widely exhibited, collected and published.
