« Roger-Viollet’s Paris » is exhibited in Bercy Village

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the photographic agency Roger-Viollet and the release of the book Paris & Roger-Viollet, Bercy Village displays on its wall 32 black and white prints to (re) discover in the Saint-Emilion and Saint-Vivant passages  from May 18 to September 16, 2019.

BERCY VILLAGE AND ROGER-VIOLLET CELEBRATES PARIS

Created in 1938, the agency Roger-Viollet is one of the great names of the French photographic heritage for the exceptional richness and diversity of its collections. Eighty years later, the agency offers visitors to Bercy Village an unforgettable walk in the capital from the 1870s to the 1980s and celebrates Paris through thirty black and white pictures, illustrating the history, architecture , and daily, artistic and cultural life. This anniversary, also celebrated with the book “Paris & Roger-Viollet”, published by La Vie du Rail, is an opportunity to present the richness and diversity of the agency’s collection of images with a selection of black and white photographs. from this book and exhibited in large format at Bercy Village.
