Perpignan 2014 : Vietnam

We owe our vision of the Vietnam War to the iconic photographs of McCullin, Burrows, Faas and Carron: the little girl burned by napalm, absent-eyed American GIs waist-deep in jungle mud, brutal scenes of comabt and the suffering of the Vietnamese. These images have left their mark due to their visual power and the severity of the conflict they illustrate.
