« These pictures were captured between Paris and Berlin, the two cities inhabited by the protagonists. My images speak of intimacy, time passing and distance. Here I refer to the moments where the bodies are the closest to each other, those instants of suspension and expression, sentimental, sexual, and truly powerful. Distance is abolished. Skins join one another and communicate, without words. Without explanations, they talk. The sensation of touching the body of someone you haven’t seen for weeks; the wait, the absence, and the desire. Then suddenly, the intimate sphere. The one of endless possibilities, of relief, the one of enjoyment and peace of mind at the same time. These bodies know each other by heart, they find their marks again. This array of photographs shows the instants of sensual communication in the lights of the metropolis in which they were taken. Those cities divide but are also witnesses of the unions they sometimes grant. » https://www.mathildeazoze.com...
