This project started few years ago, I used to work in a pub in Chelsea, one of the richest areas in London and I used to live in a poor part of Notthing Hill (a rich area).
This clash got me the idea to make a reportage, a story, about my night drinking.
I’ve met many different characters: Boozers, crack users, night riders, even kids.
All the pictures are made after my work time, when I was mainly drunk too to be honest, and I think is an unusual part of London that I’vent seen recently on pictures.
In my pictures I’ve tried to catch the paranoia of the city, the stories of the Night people in their ”reign”, between Drug houses and council estates.
Is a story of left behind people, of a not that known part of the city.
Most as a classical reportage I would call it a trip into London’s Babylon.
