In the sixth decade of my life (1975 - 1985). I was still shooting, teaching, lecturing, travelling and exhibiting my photography. However to teach at University-level in France I had to present a thesis; I decided not to write but only present my photographs: a group of 73 images in black and white. l was granted my doctorate under the presidency of Roland Barthes, able at last to teach in my country.
