A Gallery for Fine Photography presents Moments of Being: a collection of twenty, 25 1/2 x 20″ hand-pulled photogravures printed on Sekishu Tsuru tissue by contemporary artist Josephine Sacabo. A devotee of alternative and historical photographic techniques, Sacabo layers multiple images to create a single ethereal image. Sacabo is an exceptional printmaker whose signature process, photogravure, heightens the mystery and otherworldly romance of her images. Moments of Being continues Sacabo’s career-long artistic exploration of the intersections between body and soul, past and present, thought and feeling.
