The project I present is called “Magaluf: Sex, Alcohol and sun“. Magaluf is a tourist town located 17km from the capital Palma de Mallorca (Spain). Every summer thousands of British come looking for sex, partying, drinking, sunbathing and relaxing.
My name is Javier Izquierdo. I’m a photographer from Palma de Mallorca (Spain). I was born in 1976. I have been taking pictures for the last 18 years now, always as a self-taught person, just learning from seen pictures of photographers as James Nachtwey, Eugene Richards, Roger Ballen or Michael Ackerman, my influences had been my teachers.
