Heritages, manifest exhibition of feminist photography is held until March 27 at the Galerie Amarage at the Puces de Saint Ouen in Paris. the two curators present it as follows:
Manifesto exhibition, Heritages, brings together photographers, women and non-binary, around strong and committed themes, intrinsic to their works: representations, intersectionality, matrimony and female gaze. Through the exhibited photographs and the style of each one, the notions of transmission, inspiration and creation common between artists emerge, implicitly.
Organized by Armâne and Clémence, the duo behind Iconographia, this exhibition aims to bring together artists whose work and commitment they admire, even though women photographers still represent only 20% of the photographs exhibited and acquired in galleries.
