Daniel Boudinet, cities at night

Preview

This week we are showing Daniel Boudinet exhibition in Tours, France, curated by Mathilde Falguière and Christian Caujolle.

The time was magical and it lasted 10 years. Photography became fashionable in the 1970s. Galleries were created one after the other, all more anti-conventional. One particularly was amazing: La Remise du Parc, not far from the Halles in Paris. It was run by a very attractive young woman, Samia Saouma, and her companion William Burke. This is where we first discovered Mapplethorpe, the Baron de Meyer, and Daniel Boudinet, for whom Mathilde Falguière and Christian Caujolle made this wonderful exhibition in Tours that we will be showing in a series this week. Photographers die very old or very young: Daniel Boudinet did not die very old.
