Preview

Every other year, Month of Photography (a.k.a. “MoP”) transforms the Denver Metro region into a feast of fine art photography. Dozens of galleries, museums, and other venues participate by hosting photography exhibitions, artist talks and events. It’s an amazing opportunity to delight your eyes, get inspired, and explore the region’s arts scene. Most events are free and open to the public.

The 2019 Month of Photography festival officially started March 1, engaging more than 120 galleries, museums, and art venues featuring more than 550 photographers from around the world. Some exhibitions are on view now and others will continue into April.

But don’t stop there! For a complete list of exhibitions and events. To view the full schedule and participating venues and artists, visit mopdenver.com. A free newspaper with A-Z event listings is also available at CPAC and art venues across Colorado.

Today The Eye of Photography dedicates the entire edition to the Month of Photography (MoP)  – Denver, Colorado and features 7 of our favorite exhibitions.
