Opening view at Léonce Reynaud street by Samuel Kirszenbaum

Preview

Facing the Fondation Yves Saint-Laurent, Rue Léonce Raynaud in Paris, on April 9th. Two openings, two styles. Linking them, a red line taped on the street.

Number 4 in the street, the sublime subtlety of platinum prints emphasizes Takeshi Shikama‘s visions. Shikama came from Japan with his exquisite wife Yukiko. Among the many people who came,  Quynh Diem (director of the gallery Da-End) and the photographer Satoshi Saïkusa.

Number 12 in the street, the same platinum reveals Mike Tyson’s neck, Elliott Erwitt, Irving Penn‘s prints, and Billecart Salmon brings Steven Lyon to light, waiting for his friends at the door, greeting each of them with a hug.

A successful tribute to this technique as incredibly hard to master as it is soft to watch.
