Last Thursday, Christie's Pari announced three major sale records. The Swiss Thomas Koerferat's collection was on sale at Christie's Paris. Total of the sale brought to the Swiss and the auction house about 4.6 million euros. Among the works sold, Black and White (Noire et Blanche) by Man Ray (1926). An anonymous client acquired by phone the work for 2 688 750 euros. The work was estimated at 1 million euros.

The sale of the work updates three records: it is currently the most expensive photographic work sold by an artist, the most expensive photographic work sold in France and the most expensive classical photographic work sold in the world.
