At Photo Phnom Penh, photographer Chino Otsuka presents two series of images. Imagine finding me is a series of double self‐portraits which are created around a collection of her childhood photographs taken from a family album. With the help of a digital retoucher, Otsuka inserts contemporary self-portraits into old photographs of herself from various places she has visited. In Generations (2000), which was inspired by Japanese classic films by Y. Ozu and a writer such as Amy Tan, Otsuka turns the camera on her grandmother’s house in Japan, appearing together with both her grandmother and mother.
