The weekend readers’ portfolios are one of L’Œil de la Photographie’s greatest successes. It’s a unique place: it’s freely available, free of cost, no theme, no limits, no specifications, no age group, no nationality restrictions. We’re sent between twelve and twenty portfolios every day and we publish eight of them every weekend. They come from everywhere and cover all the fields of photography. It’s a real pleasure to come across and publish those like this one, which we are moving specially to a weekday. Its creator: Samuka Marinho, a Brazilian photographer in the film world whom we’ve never heard mentioned before.
